ACC ~ Acts 20 v1 - 6
OVERVIEW:
Modern commentators frequently make note that in Acts 20:5 we find once again a “we section,” which picks up in Philippi, where the first such section ended (Acts 16:17). Many of them also hold that it was during these three winter months of 57 to 58 in Corinth that Paul wrote his letter to the Romans. Some of them also point out that with the decision reached to go to Jerusalem (Acts 19:21) there is a successive rhythm to the journey of travel and discourse and that the travel descriptions are the most detailed to date in Acts. The Fathers do not attach much importance to these verses and have little to say about them.
